Venice was founded by music industry moguls Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo. I joined in the early stages and was their only product designer at the time.
Venice was founded by music industry moguls Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo. I joined in the early stages and was their only product designer at the time.
I worked alongside the founders and core engineering team to bring the platform from zero to beta launch within my 2 years working there. After 6 months, our design team grew to 2 and together Steph Wu and I worked across all areas of design (including marketing, brand, research, UX and UI). The two of us conducted user research & 1:1 interviews with artist managers, designed and prototyped the end to end music distribution workflow platform, and wore many hats overall.
